Wonderful blog. Thank you for sharing your experience as an art student. I am roughly doing the same thing right now, but instead of a year I am spending 8 months (or three quarters) in LA. If you don't mind, I'd like to as you a question about your painting class -- more specifically Ignat's. You said you once took the 5-hours class with him; and then the 3 hours one. Do the 2 extra hours in the longer class make much difference? Or would you say you got most of it in the first three hours? I am debating on which to take, and another opinion would be greatly helpful. Thanks again! :)
